Green Run won the last time they faced Kellam and things went their way on Friday too. The Stallions blew past the Knights, posting a 55-3 victory. Given the Stallions' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Knights are ranked 220th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Green Run has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 10 points this season. As for Kellam, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Run will venture away from home to square off against Princess Anne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kellam, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ocean Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
