Baseball Recap: Daniel Boone Comes Up Short

Daniel Boone lost to Elizabethton back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trailblazers fell just short of the Fighting Cyclones by a score of 4-3. Trailblazers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Fighting Cyclones since Tuesday.

Daniel Boone saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Warner Stallard, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Daniel Boone's loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Elizabethton, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Coming up, Daniel Boone is taking a road trip to take on South Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elizabethton, they will welcome Dobyns-Bennett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
