Basketball Recap: Sunnyside Takes a Loss

Sunnyside lost against Eisenhower back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sunnyside Grizzlies lost to the Eisenhower Cadets on the road by a 43-24 margin.

Eisenhower got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ariana Ramos out in front who posted ten points and three steals. Ramos is becoming a predictor of Eisenhower's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 6-8 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Nekha Roehl, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds.

Sunnyside dropped their record down to 5-16 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eisenhower, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Sunnyside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eisenhower, they will face off against Eastmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastmont will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Eisenhower surely won't give up without a fight.
