Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bravo Knights. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Franklin took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 23-25, 25-17, 15-12.

Franklin's record now sits at 2-6. As for Bravo, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will square off against Wilson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Wilson will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Franklin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bravo, they will challenge Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
