Softball Recap: Fort Worth Country Day Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Fort Worth Country Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lipan Indians by a score of 4-1 on Saturday.

Ryleigh Hall was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in doubles.

Fort Worth Country Day pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Lipan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

As for Lipan, they will head out on the road to challenge Paradise at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Lipan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
