Basketball Recap: Webberville Takes a Loss

Webberville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Potterville Vikings. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Spartans came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Vikings are ranked 621st).

Webberville's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5. As for Potterville, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

Webberville will square off against Vestaburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Potterville has already played their next match (against Morrice), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
