Football Game Preview: Central Valley Academy Thunder vs. New Hartford Spartans

For the first time this season, Central Valley Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the New Hartford Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Friday, Central Valley Academy humbled Little Falls with a 42-7 victory.

Meanwhile, while New Hartford put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Institute of Tech. The Spartans took their matchup with ease, bagging a 27-0 victory over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Central Valley Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for New Hartford, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Central Valley Academy took a serious blow against New Hartford in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 48-8. Can the Thunder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
