Volleyball Recap: Making Waves Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Making Waves Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cornerstone Christian Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Making Waves Academy's record now sits at 5-15. As for Cornerstone Christian, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

Looking ahead, Making Waves Academy will venture away from home to face off against Gateway at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will welcome Athenian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
