Softball Recap: Highland Home Comes Up Short

Highland Home and Reeltown squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Highland Home had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 17-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Flying Squadron haven't been shut out since back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Highland Home and nudges their season record down to 6-12. As for Reeltown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-18.

Highland Home wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 23-4 defeat against Isabella on the 5th. As for Reeltown, they have also already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against Ranburne on the 5th.
