Football Recap: Jackson Prep Comes Up Short on the Road Against Battle Ground Academy

Jackson Prep had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats, falling 48-13.

Kaedyn Marable had a dynamite game For Battle Ground Academy., throwing for 293 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 96 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries. What's more, Marable posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Max Curry, who picked up 191 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Coming up, Jackson Prep will take on Parklane Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Battle Ground Academy, they will host Columbia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
