Basketball Recap: Queen City Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Queen City Bulldogs had to suffer through a 75-38 loss at the hands of the Liberty-Eylau Leopards. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 854th, while the Leopards are ranked 163rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Queen City and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Liberty-Eylau, the win keeps them at an undefeated 27-0.

Queen City has already played their next match (against Atlanta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Liberty-Eylau will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hooks at 7:30 p.m. Liberty-Eylau knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Hooks likes a good challenge.
