Baseball Recap: Liberty Common Eagles vs. Weld Central Rebels

There's no place like home for Liberty Common, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Weld Central Rebels on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Liberty Common also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Roman Galindo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Bryson Weibler was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Gabe Krapes, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
