Stone Memorial had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 15-5 to make it four. They fell just short of the DeKalb County Tigers by a score of 2-1. Kenzie Jackson was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over 12.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles.
