Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Christian Bulldogs vs. Glass Hilltoppers + How To Watch

The Liberty Christian Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Glass Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Liberty Christian sitting on 11 straight wins and Glass on five.

On Thursday, Liberty Christian got the win against Jefferson Forest by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Glass made easy work of Liberty on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Glass was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-12.

Liberty Christian better focus on containing Elleri Turille and Mary McCloskey as the pair were huge in Glass' win. Turille had three digs and two aces, while McCloskey had 12 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave McCloskey a new career-high.

Glass was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 16 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Liberty Christian's record is now 13-5. As for Glass, their record now sits at 12-3.

Liberty Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Glass in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
