Volleyball Recap: Southeastern Christian Academy Beats American Leadership Academy for Their Sixth Straight Win

Southeastern Christian Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came out on top against the American Leadership Academy Navigators by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 19-25, 25-10.

Kaylee Stevens was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and three aces. Those 11 digs gave her a new career-high. Brielle Reid also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Southeastern Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. They are 9-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Southeastern Christian Academy's record now sits at 9-7. As for American Leadership Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Southeastern Christian Academy will square off against Harrells Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
