Basketball Recap: Franklin Heights Comes Up Short

Franklin Heights lost against Bishop Ready back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Franklin Heights Falcons fell 56-43 to the Bishop Ready Silver Knights. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Silver Knights are ranked 30th).

This is the second loss in a row for Franklin Heights and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Bishop Ready, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin Heights will square off against KIPP Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Franklin Heights is facing KIPP Columbus at the right time seeing as KIPP Columbus is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bishop Ready, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
