Waterloo came tearing into Saturday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Nekoosa Papermakers by a score of 2-0.

Leading Waterloo to victory were Madi McCarthy and Brynlee Lauersdorf. McCarthy had six digs and two aces, while Lauersdorf had four digs and three assists.

They weren't the only good server: Waterloo was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.

Waterloo's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Nekoosa, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Waterloo has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pittsville on the 20th. As for Nekoosa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Alma Center Lincoln on the 20th.
