After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nelson, Gresham was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the David Douglas Scots. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Gophers this season.

Gresham's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-7. As for David Douglas, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gresham will take on rival Reynolds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, David Douglas is set to face off against their familiar foe Sandy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
