Basketball Preview: Valley Christian Eagles vs. East Palestine Bulldogs
Valley Christian is 7-0 against the Bulldogs since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Valley Christian Eagles will look to defend their home court against the East Palestine Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Valley Christian will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Valley Christian at home against the Bears as the team secured a 61-26 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-14.
Meanwhile, East Palestine took a serious blow against the Golden Eagles on Friday, falling 78-51. East Palestine has struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Valley Christian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for East Palestine, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
Valley Christian strolled past the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 63-49. Does Valley Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
