While Delavan-Darien's victory against Monroe wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Comets won by a set and slipped past the Cheesemakers 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Cheesemakers: they've now won eight in a row.

Morgan Weiss paced Delavan-Darien's offense, picking up ten kills. Weiss got some help from Janelle Damrow and her 11 assists. Delaney Stallings and Elizabeth Zweifel kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Delavan-Darien's victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Monroe, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

Delavan-Darien wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Big Foot on the 11th. As for Monroe, they will take on Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
