A well-balanced attack led Veritas Christian Academy over The Franklin School of Innovation in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Thunderbolts with a sharp 63-43 victory.

Veritas Christian Academy was led to victory by Lee Burgess and Owen Foote. Burgess almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine steals, while Foote went 10-for-25 en route to 27 points along with five boards and three steals. Foote's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Easton Bishop was another key player, putting up five points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals.

The Franklin School of Innovation's loss came despite strong showings from Bryan Westmoreland and Owen Klein. Westmoreland posted seven points and seven boards, while Klein scored eight points and six rebounds. Klein has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.

Veritas Christian Academy's record is now 3-1. As for The Franklin School of Innovation, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Veritas Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bethel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 4. As for The Franklin School of Innovation, they will face off against Asheville T at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbolts will be up against the Trailblazers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
