Soccer Recap: Bellevue West Comes Up Short

Bellevue West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Millard North Mustangs. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Bellevue West couldn't quite close it out.

Bellevue West's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Millard North, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellevue West will face off against rival Burke at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Millard North is set to challenge their familiar foe Omaha Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
