After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Triad Baptist Christian Academy, Gospel Light Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Vandalia Christian Vikings 3-0. That's more bragging rights for Gospel Light Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gospel Light Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Vandalia Christian, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gospel Light Christian will head out to challenge Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vandalia Christian, they will take on Fellowship Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
