Football Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Coldwater Cavaliers and fell 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 138th).

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Coldwater, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

St. John's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coldwater, they will head out on the road to challenge New Bremen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
