Volleyball Recap: Willow Springs Takes a Loss

Willow Springs came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Cabool Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Willow Springs was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cabool work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 28-26.

Paisley Crudgington paced Willow Springs' offense, picking up 15 kills. Crudgington got some help from Sydney Stuart and her 16 assists. Alexis Sigman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Willow Springs' loss dropped their record down to 19-7-3. As for Cabool, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 24-7-3.

As of now, neither Willow Springs nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
