            Basketball Recap: Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors vs. Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions        
        
		
        
        
            If Kingdom Prep Academy was feeling good  fresh off their  58-36 takedown of San Jacinto Christian Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory  on Monday and fell  47-46 to the Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  42-34  on January 7th.
Kingdom Prep Academy has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record  this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Christ the King Cathedral, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 14-7.
 When Kingdom Prep Academy and Christ the King Cathedral next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Kingdom Prep Academy will try to stop All Saints Episcopal School's seven-game winning streak when the meet  on Friday. Similarly, Christ the King Cathedral will  take on  Holy Cross Catholic Academy and their four-game winning streak  at 7:30  p.m.  on February 4th.
