Westminster Christian came tearing into Friday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Miami Christian Victors by a score of 6-2. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 win the Victors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Kaley Dyer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gigi Khoury, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Armenteros, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Westminster Christian pushed their record up to 14-6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Miami Christian, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

Coming up, Westminster Christian will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against St. Brendan at 7:00 p.m. As for Miami Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Doral Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
