After a string of eight wins, Anamosa's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Mt. Vernon Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered since October 7th.

Anamosa was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.

Anamosa's defeat dropped their record down to 25-12. As for Mt. Vernon, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Anamosa nor Mt. Vernon have any future games scheduled.
