Basketball Recap: Princeton Wins Going Away Against Pierz

Princeton can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pierz Pioneers as the Princeton Tigers made off with an 87-61 win. That 26 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Pierz, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Princeton Tigers challenge the Providence Academy Lions at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Princeton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Providence Academy likes a good challenge. Pierz and Zimmerman will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
