The Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool Nighthawks will kick their season off against the Mission Valley Vikings on Thursday. Tip off is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Mission Valley saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They breezed by Flint Hills Christian to the tune of 70-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

As for Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they had a phenomenal run, finishing with a superb 23-7 record.

Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool came out on top in a nail-biter against Mission Valley in their previous matchup back in February, sneaking past 51-48. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Mission Valley's Kailynn Jacobson, who posted 13 points in addition to five assists and five boards.
