Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockport-Fulton). Their defense stepped up to hand the Bishop Badgers a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Pirates with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Bishop from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Carli Trebilcock led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Rockport-Fulton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Bishop, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Rockport-Fulton will square off against Ingleside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop has already played their next match (against King), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
