Hampton County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Cheraw Braves 28-10 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Hurricanes sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Hampton County's defense made their presence known, laying out Kadin Thomas three times. Jayden Frazier was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. Hampton County got some further help from Malik Terry: he picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Hampton County's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Cheraw, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Hampton County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 56-6 victory against Manning on the 21st. Cheraw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
