Baseball Game Preview: Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers vs. Oklahoma Bible Trojans

Pond Creek-Hunter hasn't had much luck against Oklahoma Bible recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Pond Creek-Hunter has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pond Creek-Hunter is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Thursday. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Covington-Douglas. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since March 7, 2024.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma Bible had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Watonga get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Trojans have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Koy Schneider was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Oklahoma Bible's record is now 6-8. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Pond Creek-Hunter might still be hurting after the 15-5 loss they got from Oklahoma Bible in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
