Soccer Recap: West Stokes Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Stokes lost against Surry Central back in March of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that West Stokes have lost by just one goal.

West Stokes has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Surry Central, they pushed their record up to 7-5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, West Stokes and Surry Central will both be playing Mount Airy the next time they take the pitch. The Golden Eagles will host the Granite Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
