South Lenoir gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the North Lenoir Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

South Lenoir has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for North Lenoir, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3.
