Basketball Recap: New Albany Comes Up Short

After soaring to 63 points the game before, New Albany was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Charlestown Pirates, falling 50-25. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

New Albany has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Charlestown, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

New Albany and Evansville North will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Charlestown, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North Oldham at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
