Volleyball Recap: Southeast Alamance Starts Season with Loss at Home

Southeast Alamance unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Orange Panthers on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-9, 25-23.

Emily Troy paced Southeast Alamance's offense, picking up 14 kills. Troy got some help from Victoria Vazquez and her 22 assists. Troy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeast Alamance is headed away from home for the first time to take on Cedar Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orange, they will head out to face off against D.H. Conley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
