It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Auburn had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Fort Chiswell Pioneers by a score of 9-4. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Auburn pushed their record up to 24-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.8 runs. As for Fort Chiswell, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.

As of now, neither Auburn nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
