Basketball Recap: Charles City Takes a Loss

Charles City was the 74-60 winner over Waterloo East when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Charles City Comets and the Waterloo East Trojans didn't end well, with the Charles City Comets falling 69-54.

Charles City's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Waterloo East, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5.

Charles City will be playing at home against Decorah-North Winneshiek at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Decorah-North Winneshiek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Waterloo East has already played their next matchup, a 52-44 victory against Marshalltown on the 7th.
