Basketball Game Preview: IDEA Bridge Capitals vs. West Feliciana Saints

The IDEA Bridge Capitals and the West Feliciana Saints will face off at 6:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.

On Thursday, IDEA Bridge was beaten by Southern Lab 68-35. While losing is never fun, the Capitals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Kittens are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, West Feliciana had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They strolled past the Buffaloes with points to spare, taking the game 67-50.

West Feliciana's win came from a few key players IDEA Bridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brian Sullivan, who posted 20 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Travis Lathers, who put up 13 points along with eight boards and six assists.

West Feliciana's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for IDEA Bridge, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
