Volleyball Recap: Carson Has No Trouble Against Douglas

Carson not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Douglas Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Senators in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Carson was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10, 25-18.

Julie Salanoa had an outrageously good game as she had eight aces, five digs, and one block. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Salanoa wasn't the only good servers: Carson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Douglas, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-14.

Carson has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Reed on the 27th. Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
