Volleyball Recap: Roxana Takes a Loss

Roxana saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Carlinville Cavaliers. The Shells have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Josie Brannon paced Roxana's offense, picking up four kills. Brannon got some help from Daisy Daugherty and her 11 assists.

Roxana's defeat dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Carlinville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

Roxana has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Jacksonville on the 18th. As for Carlinville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Civic Memorial on the 18th.
