McDonough had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Great Mills Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-8 last Wednesday.

McDonough's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Great Mills, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
