Celina had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Sanger Indians by a score of 5-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 12-2 win last Tuesday.

Celina's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sanger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.

Coincidentally, Celina and Sanger will both be playing Van Alstyne the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
