Baseball Recap: North County Triumphs

Orchard Farm typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday North County proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Eagles.

The team relied heavily on Noah Lindsey, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

North County's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Orchard Farm, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North County will head out to face off against Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Orchard Farm, they are taking a road trip to take on Duchesne at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
