Basketball Recap: Rison Comes Up Short

Rison was the 47-46 winner over Dumas when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Rison Wildcats fell 54-41 to the Dumas Bobcats on Tuesday.

Rison has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Dumas, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Rison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-32 loss against DeWitt on the 16th. As for Dumas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-48 victory against Drew Central on the 15th.
