Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Southern Nash couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Orange Panthers on Thursday. The Firebirds' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 23-25, 25-20.

Daphne Tyll was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high.

Southern Nash's defeat dropped their record down to 20-2. As for Orange, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.
