Mesa hasn't had much luck against Desert Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mesa Jackrabbits will head out to square off against the Desert Ridge Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Mesa is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30.5 points per game this season.
Last Friday, Mesa and Cesar Chavez were almost perfectly matched up, but Mesa suffered a 41-40 loss. The Jackrabbits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Desert Ridge fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They slipped by Westwood 29-28 on Friday.
Andre Gonzales and Michael Alvarado were among the main playmakers for Desert Ridge as the former threw for 248 yards and four touchdowns and the latter gained 195 total yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Alvarado a new career-high in rushing yards (134).
Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Desert Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
