For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Bellaire and Cesar E. Chavez have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Cardinals blew past the Lobos 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Bellaire's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7-1.
