Soccer Game Preview: Parish Episcopal vs. Hockaday

The Parish Episcopal Panthers will head out to take on the Hockaday Daisies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parish Episcopal will be strutting in after a win while Hockaday will be coming in after a defeat.

While Parish Episcopal's victory against Prestonwood Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Lions on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Parish Episcopal in their matchups with Prestonwood Christian: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Hockaday was not quite Kinkaid's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Falcons.

Hockaday's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Parish Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Parish Episcopal skirted past Hockaday 1-0 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
